Brand Showcase Notes

Designing the reveal moment

Every launch builds to one moment: the first time guests see the product. That moment is what photographers capture and what guests describe afterwards, so it deserves careful design.

Build anticipation

Keep the product hidden until the reveal. Covered plinths, a curtain or a darkened stage all work. Teasers in the invitation and the programme help guests know something is coming.

Rehearse every second

Lighting cues, music, the host's words and the physical reveal must happen together. Rehearse the sequence more than once, with the people who will actually do it on the day.

Plan for photographs

Give photographers a clear position and a moment to capture the product before guests crowd around it. A second, slower look afterwards lets guests see the details.

After the reveal

Have product specialists ready to answer questions, and give guests a way to try or hold the product if possible. The conversation after the reveal is often where real interest begins.
